Dark Chocolate Bunny Mix
Do you want an incredibly easy and delicious snack for Easter weekend? If so, this Dark Chocolate Bunny Mix is for you!
Not only is this super delicious, but it’s also perfect to make with kids, or to gift your neighbors this week! It’s festive, brings in the Easter cheer, and is so easy!
I created a different spin for the normal white chocolate chex mix and used dark chocolate! To me, white chocolate tastes artificial and as a nutritionist, I know it adds no benefit to your health at all. It’s completely okay to enjoy foods like this, but I wanted to make a version that was 1. beneficial for your health and 2. perfect for dark chocolate lovers like me! And I think this combination is pretty dang delicious!
My personal favorite addition is the Annie’s Bunnies! They taste amazing and add a little sweetness to offset the dark chocolate. I also love the festive flare they add as cute colorful little bunnies! Kids LOVE this part! You can also interchange the sprinkles and M&M colors for other holidays and seasons. It’s a mix you’ll enjoy all year long!
How it’s Made
To make this mix, all you have to do is combine the chex, pretzels, half a cup of the Annie’s Graham’s, and half of the M&M’s together, and pour the melted dark chocolate over it. You’ll mix until combined and until the chex and pretzels are completely coated. I then scoop the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet and spread it out in an even layer. You’ll then sprinkle the remaining Annie’s bunnies, remaining M&M’s, and pour sprinkles over the top. This adds the perfect color and festiveness to contrast the dark chocolate.
You’ll let this set until it’s cooled completely. Then you’ll break apart and ENJOY!
I hope you and your family absolutely love and enjoy this recipe!

Dark Chocolate Bunny Mix
Time: 15 minutes | Serves: 6 people
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the Chex cereal, pretzels, 1/2 of the M&M’s, and 1/2 a cup of the Annie’s Bunny grahams.
Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave using 15-30 second increments, stirring in between each increment. You’ll continue this until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Be careful not to burn the chocolate or it will become clumpy. You can also melt the chocolate using a double broiler.
Once the chocolate is melted, pour it over the Chex mixture and mix until everything is coated evenly with the dark chocolate. Spoon the mixture onto the parchment lined baking sheet in an even layer.
While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the remaining Annie’s Bunnies, M&M’s, and the sprinkles over the top. Let cool completely before breaking apart and serving! Enjoy!
