Pineapple Mango Green Smoothie

If you love smoothies, this recipe is for you! Not only is this recipe extremely delicious, but it’s also filled with a plethora of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and protein! It’s the perfect smoothie to run out the door with on a busy morning, pre-bike ride, afternoon summer hike, or day at the beach!
Coming from Florida, my mom and I would make versions of this recipe just about everyday. It was the perfect refreshing summer snack that filled us up and kept us energized throughout the morning or afternoon. This recipe is also great for a strong immunity boost! Basically, it’s the total package.

How it’s Made

This smoothie takes absolutely no time at all! Quick, easy, and made in a flash from ingredients already in your fridge. What’s not to love? You’ll simply add in all the ingredients to a blender, blend, and wala! You have an amazing smoothie at your fingertips.
For smoothies, I usually recommend adding a green, a fruit combo, a fat, and a protein! This smoothie contains the tropical fruits of mango, pineapple, and banana, while also incorporating avocado, collagen powder, and spinach. Nutrition wise, this smoothie is extremely healthy and hits a wide range of fats, carbs, and proteins.
On the go tips: For easily making this smoothie on the go, I recommend freezing ripe bananas, and avocado chunks! This makes it even easier to throw together and eliminates having to add ice to your smoothie.

Pineapple Mango Green Smoothie

Time: 5 minutes | Serves: 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of pineapple chunks, frozen

  • 1 cup mango chunks, frozen

  • 1 small avocado (1/2 if it’s a large avocado)

  • 3 cups spinach, loosely packed

  • 1 banana

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 scoop unflavored collagen protein powder

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
